Month One: March

Willow came with the name "Mini Cooper". I only came out occasionally the first month, just to see the foals as I've never been around them before and of course they are just ADORABLE. I loved her from the moment I saw her- just something about her attracted her to me (besides the fact she looks just like my big horse, Starburst!) Not all of these pictures are accurate on the dates, but they are very close!

March 13th, 2013: Willow and a few other fillies are picked up from the farmer in Kentucky and brought to safety in North Carolina.

March 17th, 2013: Willow and seven other fillies arrived at Pure Thoughts Horse & Foal Rescue.

March 18th, 2013: I meet Willow for the first time and immediately fall in love- but hey! Wait a minute. I don't need a second horse. And especially a baby!

We're both not too sure of each other.. haha!

March 23rd, 2013: The foals have their first real halter lesson. Willow is not amused.

March 30th, 2013: My 20th birthday... Mom comes out to meet baby and loves her too!
